How do I choose my size?

Take your usual size. Half sizes are grouped (8–8.5, 9–9.5…), so if you wear the half size you're covered. Very wide or swollen feet, bunions or thick wool socks? Go one size up. See the size guide for foot lengths. And if the size isn't right, the exchange is on us.

Is the second pair really free?

Yes. Pick 2 pairs, in any colors and sizes, and you pay for one: $89.90 for both, $44.95 a pair. Keep one by the front door and one in the car, or give the second pair to someone who is always cold.

Can I wear them in the snow and rain?

They're made for cold days and short trips: the driveway, the sidewalk, the parking lot, a light dusting of snow. They're not rain boots, so skip deep puddles and wet snow above the ankle.

Will they keep me from slipping on ice?

No shoe is ice-proof. The thick, treaded sole helps on the driveway and the sidewalk; on black ice, take it slow or slip a pair of ice grips over the boot.

Do they have arch support?

They have a soft, plush-lined footbed, not a contoured arch. If you need arch support for a foot condition, ask your podiatrist.

How warm are they?

The plush lining covers your whole foot and folds over at the top, so there's no gap at the ankle. On very cold days, pair them with a wool sock: go one size up if the sock is thick.

How do I care for them?

Brush off snow and salt after you come in, wipe with a damp cloth, and let them air dry away from the heater. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
