Much easier than a full bodysuit

My lower belly looks more even

After having children, I was left with a soft lower belly that never really changed much, even when I lost weight. Regular underwear tended to sit underneath it, which made the outline more noticeable in my trousers.

Still comfortable sitting at my desk

I’ve bought shapewear that looked lovely standing in front of the mirror, then became unbearable once I sat down. The waistband would press right into my middle, especially after lunch.
I tried these on a day when I was working from home so I could change if necessary. They feel supportive, but the fabric has enough give when I sit or lean forward. I can tell they’re shaping underwear, so I wouldn’t describe them as completely weightless. But I’m no longer counting down until I can take them off.

A smoother finish under my uniform 👩‍⚕️

I used to wear only white underwear with my white nursing uniform because I worried about anything else showing. But the waistband and edges could still leave quite an obvious outline, particularly when I tucked my top in.
The difference with this brief is the smoother finish around my waist. There’s less of that underwear ridge beneath the fabric, and I feel more put together in my uniform.
The black works beneath my thicker uniform fabric. For anything thinner or more transparent, I’d choose nude—fabric thickness makes a difference.

My waistband no longer cuts across my belly
